An Ash & Oak film preserves a legacy and makes a meaningful impact. Video is an all-encompassing experience. It's movement, it's sound design, it's reliving life's most precious moments in real time. As your filmmakers, it's our job to uncover the deeper story and capture the raw essence of your unique love. Not only do we want you to remember your wedding day, but we also want you to re-experience the excitement and feel the emotions every time you watch your film.
Our most popular collection
Preserve your wedding day by adding a Ceremony Film to your collection. Ceremonies are naturally much longer - usually lasting 15-30 minutes. Since we can only include so much in your wedding film, we highly recommend adding on a ceremony film so that you can relive your ceremony from beginning to end.
Raw footage is one of our most popular add-ons. This is the unprocessed and unedited version of all the video clips from your project. We recommend purchasing the raw footage because it preserves and gives you every piece of unprocessed and unedited video and audio that we recorded for your project.
For rehearsal dinners, we typically like to set up 2 hours prior to the start of your rehearsal dinner to gather video shots of the venue - and we will stay through the end of the rehearsal dinner. We highly recommend adding rehearsal dinner coverage to your collection as there tend to be much more intimate toasts given in a much more intimate setting.
Our social media trailers are edited to cinematically hook and draw you in. We optimize our trailers for social media and deliver them in both wide and vertical formats so that you can post on any social platform.
A toast film shows every toast given from beginning to end. We also color grade and add music to set you back in that moment.
This add-on is for the couple who doesn't quite want everything included in the Denali Collection, but wants their short film to resemble the Denali Collection. When you add this to the Teton Collection, it effectively doubles the guaranteed length of your wedding film.
In each collection, there is a specified amount of wedding day coverage. If your needs are greater than what is given, we can easily add on extra coverage time to ensure not a moment is missed.
We LOVE story sessions! This is shot on a day separate from and before the wedding day. When you add a story session edit to your collection, this gives you a fully edited video of your story session interview.
We are so excited that you are interested in hiring us as your wedding filmmakers! Our first step is for you to fill out our inquiry form and we will get back to you within 24 hours. In our response email we will ask you to confirm your wedding date and click the link to schedule a discovery call. We want to get to know each other better to see if we are the right fit!
After inquiry, we always like to hop on a discovery call with our couples. This allows us to get to know each other better and see if we are the right fit to craft your wedding film. In this call we will talk about what you are most excited about on your wedding day, dive deeper into why a wedding film is important to you, go over our collections / pricing, & answer all your questions.
If we are your vibe and you want to reserve us for your wedding day, we require a signed contract and down payment that goes toward your final balance. At that point you will have officially booked us as your wedding filmmakers.
We’re here for you. We’re happy to work together to create the perfect wedding day timeline. Working with a planner? Great! Your film will be even better when a team is working together. We will be in touch throughout the wedding planning process to dig further into your story and schedule a date for a story session. Then we'll get on a final call around 1 month out from your wedding to go over the finished timeline.
Sometime in between your booking date and wedding date, we will get together to do a story session. We LOVE story sessions! They allow us to hang out together on a day separate from the wedding day and get on a more friendship level with each other. It also allows you to get warmed up to being on camera and dig deeper into your story through interviews with you and your partner.
We like to arrive early to walk around the property and get a feel for the venue. We'll scope out potential shooting locations for the day and get prepped to start filming. Then we’ll film according to the timeline that we’ve discussed and put into place. Ultimately we are here to serve you and want your wedding day to be as stress free and fun as possible. If there is anything we can do for you, we are here to do so.
After we finish filming your wedding, we will back up your footage to our hard drives and send a little preview within a week of your wedding date. After that your film goes into our editing queue and depending on where we are in the season, you can expect your film to be finished and delivered to you about 3-4 months after your wedding date for Denali and Teton Collections, and 4-5 months after your wedding date for the Base Camp Collection. Also, we will send a message as soon as we start actively working on your film.
We are at a loss for words. Our wedding film surpassed every one of our expectations and we are currently bawling our eyes out as we watch our film. You are incredible. Your work is incredible. And we are so thankful for having you as our filmmakers - we could not have had this experience without you being the ones to capture our special moments. Every aspect of our film is perfect. We cannot wait to re-watch a million times over. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
"Seth & Emme are SO good at what they do. They CARE about what they do-and it shows. Not only are they incredibly talented, passionate, and hardworking individuals, but they are some of the most down to earth and kind people we have ever met. Our film brings tears to our eyes every time we watch. My husband and I consider them friends and are over the moon happy with our decision to pick them as our filmmakers. From start to finish they were incredible to work with and truly made us feel heard. We are blown away by this experience and we know that our film will be cherished not only by us, but by our future children & generations to come."
"Seth & Emme oh my goodness. We literally don’t have the words to describe how we feel. Only tears!! The happiest tears ever. We just laughed, cried, and smiled so so big while watching our film. You captured our day PERFECTLY and this is so so so so special to us. We will never forget this experience and thank you will never be enough!!!"
A story session is where we get together on a day separate from the wedding to film interview questions between you and your partner, as well as film you doing an activity that you enjoy doing together. This allows us to dig deeper into your story and find the hidden gems of your unique love.
Yes, we do. We require both a signed contract and down payment that goes toward your final balance to fully reserve us for your day. We operate on a first come first served basis and cannot hold a date without a signed contract and down payment.
Unfortunately, no. As much as we would love to go ahead and send you your raw footage, we think you’ll be much happier waiting until after you’ve received your final film. There is a major difference between watching the raw footage and your final film. And we want the first time you watch your film to be as great of an experience as possible.
Absolutely! We would love to have your input because we want your film to reflect your personality. We make music choices based off the mood we want to convey and then further that search by genre.
Editing a wedding film takes a lot of time to put together, and we pour our whole selves into these films. We want to give every couple the time they deserve to get the wedding film of their dreams. We set the delivery time at 3-4 months for our Teton and Denali Collections and 4-5 months for our Base Camp Collection to account for busy seasons and other projects that we take on.
